Headache, Migraine & Jaw Conditions We Treat
Many headaches, migraines, and jaw problems have a spinal component. We look for it before anything else.
Head and jaw symptoms are some of the most disruptive complaints we see. When they keep returning despite medication, the upper neck is often part of the story, because the joints and nerves of the upper cervical spine are closely tied to the head and jaw.
Dr. Farmer evaluates the upper cervical spine, posture, and jaw mechanics together, using on-site X-rays to understand how they interact. For many patients, correcting upper neck alignment reduces the frequency and intensity of tension headaches and migraine episodes.
Care is conservative and drug-free. If your case needs a different specialist, we say so, and we help you find the right next step.

Head & Jaw Conditions We Help With
The three complaints below bring more patients through our door than almost anything else involving the head and jaw.
Headaches & Migraines
Tension in the upper neck is a common trigger for recurring headaches and migraines. Read our full guide on how we evaluate and treat them.

Jaw clicking, pain, and limited opening often involve both the jaw joint and the neck. We assess the mechanics of both together.
Vertigo & Dizziness
Some dizziness has a cervical component, where the upper neck sends confusing position signals. An exam helps determine whether spinal care may help your case.
Head & Jaw FAQ
For many patients, yes. When migraines have a cervicogenic component, meaning the upper neck contributes to them, correcting alignment and motion in that area may reduce how often and how hard they hit.
The jaw and upper neck share muscles, nerves, and postural patterns. Forward head posture in particular changes how the jaw tracks, so we evaluate both rather than treating the jaw in isolation.
No. Chiropractic care is one conservative option. If your exam suggests something outside our scope, Dr. Farmer will tell you directly and point you to the right provider.
